Welcome to BeautyFlow (beautyflow.co.ke). By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. What BeautyFlow is

BeautyFlow is an online directory, booking and business-software platform for beauty and wellness businesses in Kenya (salons, spas, barbers, nail studios, makeup artists and similar). We publish business profiles, services, prices, photos, offers and contact details supplied by businesses so clients can find, contact and book them, and we provide businesses with tools such as a point of sale, staff records and commission tracking.

BeautyFlow is not a party to any transaction between customers and vendors. We do not provide beauty or wellness services, and we do not process payments between clients and businesses or hold their funds.

2. Customer safety — do your due diligence

• Services and payments happen directly between you and the business. A booking made on BeautyFlow is a request that the business confirms.
• BeautyFlow never asks for payment to confirm a booking. Be careful with anyone who asks you to pay a deposit to an unknown number.
• Tell the business about allergies, skin conditions or health concerns before any treatment.
• BeautyFlow does not verify businesses' licences, qualifications, hygiene standards or the accuracy of listed prices.
• Report suspicious listings to us on WhatsApp so we can investigate and remove them.

3. Business accounts

• You must provide accurate business and contact information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for everything you publish (services, prices, photos, staff profiles, descriptions) and confirm you own or have the right to use it, including your staff's consent to show their photos.
• Listings must not be misleading, offensive, unlawful or infringe anyone's rights.
• You must comply with all applicable Kenyan laws, including health, licensing, employment, data protection and consumer protection requirements. Commission, payout and HR figures in BeautyFlow are records to help you; you remain responsible for paying your staff and meeting your obligations as an employer.
• We may suspend, unpublish or delete any listing or account at our discretion, including for complaints, fraud or breach of these terms.

4. Plans and payment

• The Free plan is available at no cost with limits on the number of services and photos.
• The Premium plan is a monthly subscription at the fee displayed on the Upgrade page. Each payment covers 30 days and removes plan limits and adds premium placement.
• Paid plans are paid by card or M-Pesa through Paystack and are switched on when the payment clears. If a renewal is not paid, the account returns to Free plan limits when the period ends; content is not deleted.
• Fees are non-refundable once a period has been activated, except where required by law. We may change the monthly fee with notice; the new fee applies from your next renewal.

5. Reviews, bookings and inquiries

Reviews are submitted by the public and reflect their opinions, not ours. We may moderate, hide or remove reviews that are abusive, fake or off-topic. Bookings and inquiries sent through the site are delivered to the business; we may view them for support and abuse prevention.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BeautyFlow is provided "as is" and we are not liable for any loss, damage, illness, fraud or dispute arising from your dealings with any business or client found through this platform, or from any service received, or from any inaccuracy in a listing.

7. Intellectual property

The BeautyFlow name, logo and site design belong to us. Businesses retain ownership of their content but grant us a licence to display it on the platform and in promotional material.

8. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the new terms.
