How to get more salon bookings online

7 min read · For salon, spa and barbershop owners

Most new clients now find a salon on their phone before they walk in. They look for three things: what you do, what it costs, and whether they can get a slot. Here's how to make sure they find you — and book.

1. Have one page with your prices and a Book button

Clients hesitate when prices are hidden. A single page with your services, prices, photos, opening hours, location and a booking button answers every first question. Share that one link everywhere. BeautyFlow gives every salon a free booking page.

2. Let clients book several services at once

Many visits are more than one service — braids and a manicure, a cut and a beard trim. When clients can add them all to one booking and see the total time and price, they book more.

3. Show up on Google

  • Create a free Google Business Profile with your exact location and opening hours.
  • Link it to your booking page.
  • Use the words people search: your area and your services (“braids in Kilimani”, “barber in Nyali”).

4. Use WhatsApp status and Instagram properly

  • Post real work, not stock photos — a finished style from the chair, with good light.
  • Post several times a week, and always include the booking link.
  • Add the link to your Instagram bio and WhatsApp Business profile.

5. Ask for reviews

Reviews are the difference between a new client choosing you or the salon next door. Ask happy clients right after the service, while they're looking in the mirror.

6. Fill quiet days with offers

Look at your reports for your quietest days and hours, then run an offer only then — “20% off facials, Tuesday to Thursday”. It fills empty chairs without discounting your busy Saturday.

7. Confirm every booking

A quick WhatsApp confirmation the day before cuts no-shows. Assign the booking to a stylist so they know their day.

BeautyFlow puts all of this in one place: your booking page, multi-service bookings, WhatsApp confirmations, offers with end dates, and bookings that turn into sales when the client arrives. Start free.
